What is a string quartet? The string quartet is made up of two violins, a viola and a cello. The instruments take the roles of Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. The combination produces complete, four part harmony. The repertoire written or arranged for string quartet is very large and includes works in just about every style imaginable. |

Do you perform outdoors? Yes, provided it is warmer than 65°F. For the sake of our instruments we also need full protection from sunlight, rain and wind. |
||
| What
will you need on the day of our event? We need four chairs without arms and sufficient space to set up (approximately 7' x 7'). If indoors, access to an electrical outlet for lighting is helpful. We provide our own music stands and lights. |
