What is a string quartet? The string quartet is made up of two violins, a viola and a cello. The instruments take the roles of Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. The combination produces complete, four part harmony. The repertoire written or arranged for string quartet is very large and includes works in just about every style imaginable. |

| How
do I choose the music? We provide a complementary consultation to help you decide. You may begin the process by going to the Music menus to listen to the audio clips from our CD and view our suggested titles. You may also wish to search our database by going to Search Repertoire (It's the largest in the upper Midwest.) Contact us for help with any questions or to request a demo CD. | |||
| Do
you perform special music? Yes. We're often asked to perform special music, including pieces written by participants in events or their friends. If a requested piece requires unusual preparation, special arrangements may be necessary. If you have questions about music, contact us. TOP |

Do you perform outdoors? Yes, provided it is warmer than 65°F. For the sake of our instruments we also need full protection from sunlight, rain and wind. |
||
| What
will you need on the day of our event? We need four chairs without arms and sufficient space to set up (approximately 7' x 7'). If indoors, access to an electrical outlet for lighting is helpful. We provide our own music stands and lights. |

| How
do we reserve the LSQ for our event? Your date is reserved when we receive your signed contract with the deposit. On occasion there may be more than one client who wishes to hire us for the same date and time. We try to let both clients know when this is the case but we operate on a first come, first serve basis. TOP |
